Register / log in

Create an account with your email to post, reply, save favourites and send private messages. You can read posts without logging in, but posting and networking will be much easier with an account.

Choose the right board

For jobs, go to Jobs & Hiring. For rooms, check Rental & Housing. To sell items, use Second-hand Market. For socialising, join Friends & Social. You can also use the top search bar with “area + keyword”, for example: “Orchard rental” or “Yishun kindergarten”.

Post and communicate

When posting, clearly state location, type, budget, time and contact. If you’re interested in a post, leave a public reply first, then decide whether to move to private messages or other contact methods.

ShiChengBBS (ShiChengBBS / QC52) is run by a team of long-term Chinese residents in Singapore. We started as a small classifieds site and grew into a one-stop community for rental, jobs, second-hand items, local services and social life.

Our goal is not just to be a cold advertising board, but a practical toolbox for your life in Singapore: when you first arrive, you can find rooms and jobs here; once settled, you can discover food and things to do; when facing policy / visa / PR questions, you can read real experiences from others who have been there.

Reliable information: jobs, housing, second-hand items, local services, immigration, study, family & kids, legal & tax and more everyday topics.
Connecting people: through boards, offline activities and social groups, we help Chinese in Singapore feel less alone and build their own network.
Sharing experiences: we encourage long-form posts and detailed guides, so others can avoid the pitfalls you’ve already experienced.

No middleman, no escrow: the platform only displays information and facilitates communication. We do not handle any payment or act as an agent.
Against scams and fake info: accounts and posts repeatedly reported for suspicious behaviour may be limited, removed or banned.
Respect & open discussion: different views are welcome, but personal attacks, hate speech and obvious violations are not.
